My journey to mental health care includes many instances of guidance and duas, alhamdulillah. I am grateful for the people in my life, for seeing my potential and sharing their wisdom with me. I studied mainstream psychology and often was the only hijabi Muslim in my class. In every class I went to, I looked for ways to integrate psychology with Islam, maybe except when I felt sleepy.. Nonetheless, I made actionable dua for several years toward my dreams and alhamdulillah, it became true through Ruh. Now, I have abundant resources around me to learn more about Islamic Psychology and apply it in my practice. Ruh Care is one of them; it connects me with other believers. I am honoured to be a member of the Muslim mental health family.
