Sabaahath Latifi is a clinical therapist at Khalil Center. She has completed her Masters of Science in Clinical Psychology, with a subspecialty in children and adolescents' developmental psychology, from Benedictine University. She graduated from Elmhurst College with her Bachelors in Speech-Language Pathology. Prior to that, Sabaahath studied Islamic jurisprudence, history, Quran Tafseer, and Urdu for six years. She has also previously worked with children with special needs and learning disorders.
At Khalil Center Sabaahath works with children experiencing anxiety, significant changes in family environment, behavioral concerns, peer related concerns, body image and self-esteem issues, and stress management. She also works with women experiencing anxiety, OCD, marital conflict, and depression. Currently she leads two groups: divorced women's support group and anxiety skills group for adolescent females. Sabaahath is trained in crisis and trauma response and runs the crisis hotline.
