Mahnoor’s specialty in dealing with trauma and crisis related issues has developed through her graduate certification in victimology. She aims to integrate psychodynamic methodologies and mindfulness in her approach with clients. Through her masters in Counselling Psychology, she is specifically trained to use various methodologies and interventions and plans to use this training in her practice to create unique treatment plans to target individual clients needs. Being someone with a bicultural identity she can understand and empathize with identity struggles clients may have. She has a deep understanding of complex family and cultural issues. Because of this, Mahnoor has become passionate about helping others set healthy boundaries all while attempting to maintain important relationships. Using an empathetic and compassionate foundation, she hopes to work with you on various issues, aiding in resolving childhood traumas or focusing on present day behaviours. It is her belief that a strong therapeutic relationship focused on respect and empathy will be able to help heal clients and further self development. She encourages clients of any and all backgrounds to reach out and promises to meet you with respect and acceptance.
