Seema S. Sahin is a Registered Psychology Associate practicing under the supervision of a Licensed Psychologist. She received her Masters in Clinical Psychology from Loyola University. She provides individual counseling as well as psychoeducational assessments and psychodiagnostic evaluations for both children and adults. 

As a psychotherapist I believe we all have a story to share. I offer clients a safe and non-judgmental space where they can make meaningful connections as they explore their story. I use a client-centered approach while integrating a variety of counseling models in a holistic way to help clients better understand themselves and their situation. Therapy is tailored to each client’s needs and goals. 

Using a holistic approach, integrating the mind and body, clients will learn how to use mindfulness and intention as a means to make positive life changes. Together we will work through stress, anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, interpersonal conflict, worry or any emotional pain finding opportunities for strength. Pain is a part of life, but suffering is optional. By creating new dialogue between the mind-body connection, we will work to harness neuroplasticity for growth and healing. 

I believe that through compassion, empathy and acceptance, clients are more open to a path of healing and self-exploration. Mindfulness opens the doors to thankfulness, which softens our hearts to acceptance.
