About Tarak Ahmed

I am a compassionate, client-focused social worker with over 10 years of considerable experience offering psychotherapy services to diverse clients. Over the years, I have successfully assisted individuals from different groups and backgrounds with life and career changes, family and marital problems, self-esteem difficulties, anxiety, and depression. As an individual who identifies as Muslim, I also provide faith-based counselling.

I have a masters degree in social work from the University of Toronto as well as an undergraduate degree in social work from Toronto Metropolitan University. In addition, I have received training in a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Solution-Focused Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy.

I practice from a person-centered, holistic approach based on meeting clients where they are and assisting them in achieving their objectives.
