About
Compassionate, grounding, and deeply present. Clients often tell me that I make them feel truly seen and understood in a way they haven’t experienced before. They describe my space as warm and safe. A place where their pain is honoured and their strengths are gently uncovered.
Islam has shaped the way I view healing: as a path that honours both heart and soul, the inner world and the outer world. For clients who wish, I incorporate teachings from Qur’an and Sunnah to provide spiritually grounded care. This allows therapy to be not only a place of psychological healing but also one of spiritual alignment and growth.
I wasn’t always a therapist, my own healing journey began after experiencing burnout in my first career, where I learned how deeply physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health are connected. I also came to understand that even a strong relationship with Allah does not mean we won’t struggle in other areas of life; rather, these struggles are part of being human. I became a therapist because I want to be of service to our ummah and to walk alongside people in their most vulnerable moments.
Discover new ways to respond to life’s challenges with clarity and confidence. We’ll explore how your experiences may affect you today, and gently work through them so you can find freedom and peace. Together, we’ll build practices that help you feel more grounded, more connected to yourself and others, and more at ease in your daily life. I help my clients transform patterns of shame, guilt, fear, or emotional disconnection into greater compassion, confidence, and wholeness.
I work with Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), a healing-oriented approach that helps people move through difficult emotions into greater resilience, connection, and hope. Instead of focusing only on what’s “wrong,” AEDP creates space for what is strong and alive within you, even in the midst of suffering.
My training has given me tools to help clients who carry painful relationships with parents, partners, or family members, including those with narcissistic traits. I understand how cultural values can both enrich and challenge our relationships, and I help clients sort through these influences in a way that feels authentic and empowering.
I know how hard it can be to take the first step toward therapy. My commitment is to meet you with warmth and openness, so you feel at home from the very beginning. I believe therapy is not about “fixing” you, it’s about uncovering the strengths you already carry and learning how to live more fully with them.
If you’re ready to take the next step, InshaAllah, I’d love to walk this journey with you.
Let’s begin, together.
