About
Therapy, in its truest form, should never feel like a one-size-fits-all process. My role is to create a safe, compassionate space where you don’t have to perform or meet anyone’s expectations - you simply show up in your authentic form.
I draw from a variety of approaches that honour the science of psychology, the wisdom of lived experience, and the wholeness that comes from spiritual alignment. Sometimes that means gently reshaping the story you tell yourself about your past. Other times, it’s about finding steady ground in the present - perhaps learning how to pause, notice, and respond with intention instead of being pulled into patterns that no longer serve you. For professionals facing pressure or burnout, this can mean creating space to breathe again, reclaiming balance, and rediscovering that life can feel manageable, not overwhelming.
From an Islamic perspective, the Qur’an and Sunnah remind us that healing involves the whole person - mind, body, and soul. This view guides my work with clients of all backgrounds, helping you reconnect with your inner resilience, process trauma safely, and move toward growth in a way that respects your values and faith.
With me, you don’t need to worry about being lost in an “alphabet soup” of therapy acronyms. We will walk together, at your pace, toward clarity, reclaiming strength, and well-being.
Starting therapy can feel daunting - I agree. That’s why my approach is warm, welcoming, and flexible. I don’t expect you to show up in any particular way; I will meet you exactly where you are. Together, we will create space for healing that’s both compassionate and practical.
Wellness starts within. Sometimes it begins with one conversation, one new perspective, or even one lighthearted laugh in the middle of a heavy moment. Clients tell me they appreciate that balance - the ability to hold deep pain with care, while also reminding them that joy and healing are possible.
So whether you’re new to therapy, in transition, or wandering back after an absence, welcome - Bismillah!
