Community Empowerment Through Grants
We recognize that access to Islamically-aligned mental health resources are still out of reach for too many of our communities, limited by cost, stigma, language barriers, and a lack of culturally responsive care. This grant exists to help local organizations bring trusted, Islamically-aligned support directly to the people they serve.
What these grants fund: Build mental health access in your community with Ruh-led support. Mix and match based on what your community needs between one-on-one therapy sessions with licensed Muslim therapists and psychoeducation events and healing circles!

Grant size: $1,500–$5,000 (CAD) per organization
Where: Canada only
Deadline to apply: January 31, 2026
Results announced: February 15, 2026
Who Can Apply
This grant is designed for community anchors and organization who want to bring trusted, Islamically-aligned mental health support that meet people where they are.
Eligible applicants:
Nonprofits & community organizations
Masjids
Schools
MSAs / campus groups
Other community-based initiatives
Requirements: Based in Canada

How it works
1. Apply based on your community needs by January 31, 2026
2. Reviewed by Ruh on a rolling basis
3. Decision sent by February 15, 2026 with next steps
4. Deliver programming by August 31, 2026
All grants are application-based. Ruh reserves the right to accept or decline any application at its sole discretion.
