Hamza Sakr

Program Coordinator

At Ruh, Hamza supports community engagement and programs by helping build relationships with schools, masjids, community organizations, and local partners. His work focuses on increasing awareness of Islamically aligned and culturally responsive mental health care, while helping communities better understand the support available to them.

Hamza holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and is currently completing a two-year after-degree in Education while pursuing graduate studies in Psychology. He has experience facilitating workshops on anti-bullying, hate prevention, gender-based violence prevention, digital media literacy, and youth leadership.

He is also a Dean’s List student and indoor track athlete at St. Mary’s University. Through his background in education, athletics, public speaking, and multimedia storytelling, Hamza brings energy, creativity, and a community-first approach to his work.
