About
"Your healing is a sacred journey—and you don't have to walk it alone."
Bismillah. In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
I am Antar Teleba, Registered Psychotherapist (RP), former university professor, and Imam. For 25 years, I have dedicated my life to teaching, mentoring, and serving communities. My journey has taken me from the university lecture hall to the mosque, and now to the therapy room—because I believe that true healing addresses not just the mind, but the soul.
My academic credentials include a Master's in Education, as well as Master's and PhD degrees in Linguistics, Religion, and Curriculum Studies. I have memorized the Quran and earned multiple ijazas in prophetic traditions and the Biography of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). But I do not impose faith—I honor yours. Whether you are Muslim or non-Muslim, whether you speak English or Arabic, I meet you where you are, with respect, compassion, and deep cultural humility.
I have worked with individuals facing depression, anxiety, trauma, OCD, bipolar disorder, and borderline personality disorder. My approach is rooted in humanistic psychology, integrated with spiritual sensitivity and evidence-based practice. I believe that you are not defined by your struggles—you are defined by your courage to seek help.
Together, we will pursue tranquility, comfort, and well-being—not as distant hopes, but as your present reality. Let's begin!
