About
Welcome, and Assalam-o-Alaikum! I am glad you are here.
Counselling can be seen as planting a seed that, with nurturing and attention, will grow into something beautiful. Every individual is akin to a seed that undergoes continual growth, advancing through each fleeting season filled with moments of joy and sorrow, courage and uncertainty, challenges and new beginnings. Like seeds, humans require sources and resources to aid them in reaching their full potential, such as sunlight, rain, and soil. And just like every seed holds importance, every human being also possesses inherent value.
My own journey into counselling was shaped by mentors who recognized my strengths and encouraged me to explore this path. Their guidance introduced me to the meaningful work of supporting others and continues to influence the way I approach counselling today. I am passionate about working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and creating a safe, compassionate, authentic, and non-judgmental space where they can feel heard and understood. I believe that when individuals are genuine, transparent, and vulnerable with themselves, they can work through their struggles and find solutions from within.
I have experience supporting individuals through grief, trauma, depression, anxiety, life transitions, and relationship concerns, including parent-child conflict, separation and divorce, pregnancy and postpartum adjustment, bullying, harassment, and other difficult interpersonal experiences. My approach is collaborative, integrative, and holistic. I believe counselling is something we navigate together, with your experiences, values, and goals at the center of our work.
