Sarah Yousuf
Registered Social Worker & Psychotherapist (MSW, RSW)
About
I’m Sarah Yousuf, a registered social worker and psychotherapist with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Services Workers (OCSWSSW). I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Toronto, specializing in Health and Mental Health. Alongside my academic journey, I completed my Ta'leem Al Quran Certificate at Al Huda Institute Canada, diving deep into Quranic interpretation (Tafseer). To further enrich my religious education, I moved to Egypt to study Arabic and Islamic Studies.
In my work, I blend my secular and religious knowledge to offer a holistic approach to psycho-spiritual well-being grounded in the Quran and Sunnah. As a Black Muslim woman, I understand the complexities of intersectional identities and the challenges faced by marginalized communities. With over a decade of experience working with diverse Muslim communities, I’m passionate about creating a supportive, non-judgmental space that empowers individuals to recognize their strengths and achieve their goals. I’m here to help you navigate life’s challenges with understanding, compassion, and growth!
